Jose, looking up at your house in Stamford, and knowing you were there always made me feel warm ~ and smile, knowing that I can now just look up in the sky and feel your presence, wherever I go, makes my heart warm. Heaven became a much better place with you in it.

Dr. Jose Freire, a wonderful man, husband, father and friend. Shared in common the eight years we lived in Stamford, Connecticut, raising our children through the Trinity Catholic high school years. Our son, Alan, remembers the great young adolescent years / memories and remains very good friends with James and JP. On a parallel basis, Gabriela, deceased in December 2005, greatly enjoyed the family friendship / prom companionship with JP. And Nancy and Enrique will always cherish the magnificent friendship with both Jose and Cookie. The latter, in turn, a magnificent woman and mother, excellent friend and share with her this difficult period of sadness but also of spiritual comfort and wonderment knowing that Jose is now with our Creator.
