Joseph Michael Bykov's Obituary
Joseph Bykov, beloved friend, father, and grandfather has passed away on January 9th of 2024. Born in Kiev, Ukraine, Joseph sent part of his life as the concert maestro for the 1st group of violins that played in Kiev’s opera house. Once he came to America in 1976, Joseph continued his career as a professional violinist with the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra. This gave him opportunities to play around the world, from Europe to Japan. After more than 20 years with the Baltimore Symphony, Joseph retired in 2001 and served his community by passing on his vast wealth of musical knowledge to future generations of artists. His talent and love for music live on in his 2 children and 3 grandchildren, and his presence will be felt with each of their musical performances. Thank you all of those who give their condolences and keep his memory close to their hearts. The Bykov Family
