Joseph Hassett Jr.'s Obituary
Mr. Joseph Hassett, Jr., 92 of Ashburn, VA passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 22, 2014.
Joseph was born on December 31, 1921 in Philadelphia, PA. One of nine children, he was a son of the late Joseph C. Hassett and the late Alice Murray Hassett.
Leaving school in the 8th grade; following his father’s sudden death; to provide for the family, Joe held a number of jobs. As an adult he became a Main Press Operator for the E. G. Budd company, working beside his beloved father in-law, John Nicholson.
He leaves to cherish his memory his daughter, Diane Anthony of Runnemede, NJ, his sister, Alice Keane, of Delaware, two grandchildren, Jamey and Billy Anthony, two great grandchildren, Sarah, Emma and one on the way.
Interment service will be held in PA.
