Joseph Adams Lamb's Obituary
Joseph Adams Lamb, 45 of Sterling, Virginia died on Thursday, January 3, 2013, as a result of lung cancer.
Joe was born on Tuesday, July 11, 1967, in Alexandria, VA. He was a son of the late Rives Maupin Lamb and the late Lucille Catherine Adams. He was also predeceased by his beloved Donna Moshier.
He was a graduate of Broad Run High School and was employed by Guernsey Office Product as a Drivers Supervisor.
Joe was an avid guitar player and performed in several local bands including, but not limited to, The RPM’s, Cactus Liquors, Laughing Man, Drivin’ Blind, and Jameson Green.
Joe leaves to cherish his memory his loving brother Michael Adams Lamb, sister-in-law Angie Lamb, and nephew Derek Chirillo of Charles Town, WV.
A memorial service for friends and family to celebrate Joe’s life will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday at Pleasant Valley United Methodist Church located at 43987 John Mosby Highway Chantilly, Virginia 20152 with the Pastor Justin White officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society online.
