Joseph Mitchell - Age 89, passed away peacefully on May 25, 2018
Joseph was born on December 15th, 1928 in Kearny, NJ. He was a graduate of Butler H. School in Butler, NJ and obtained his Bachelors of Science degree in Physics in 1962 from Seton Hall University in South Orange, NJ. He later went on to get a Masters Degree in Physics from Rutgers University in New Brunswick, NJ. He is survived by his wife Marianne, of 64 years, his daughter, Joanne Feickert, and his son, Thomas Michael Mitchell. His grandchildren are Tyler, Nicole, Kristin, Brad, TJ, David, and McKenna. He is also survived by 3 brothers, Robert, Richard and John Mitchell and one sister Elinor Bagget and many nieces and nephews. He was a warm, fun loving, kind, and generous man especially when it came to his grandchildren. He will be missed by all. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Alzheimer Support Network, Parkinson Foundation, or Blue Ridge Hospice. Services will be private.
