Joyce Lawrence's Obituary
Joyce Wagner Lawrence , RN, 66, of Lansdowne, VA , passed away on Monday May 12, 2008 at Loudoun Hospital Center. Mrs. Lawrence was born April 3, 1942 in Queens, NY to the late Edward and Bertha Wagner. She lived in Virginia Beach prior to her husband William''s passing in December 2003. A graduate of Washington Hospital Center''s School of Nursing, she also held a Bachelor''s Degree from St. Joseph''s College of Maine. She was a naval nurse prior to having children in Charleston, SC, and civilian nurse in many different capacities afterwards. Mrs. Lawrence was a charter member of Hope Lutheran Church in Virginia Beach, VA.
She is survived by her daughter Rebecca and husband Keven Ring of Purcellville, VA; a grandson Brandon and granddaughter Joanna ; her brother and sister-in-law: Edward and Anicia Wagner of Cornelius, NC; her sister: Janie Quinn of Madison, NJ; 11 nephews and 10 nieces.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00am on Friday July 25, 2008 at Arlington National Cemetery with Military Honors.
