Karl Arnold LeRay's Obituary
Karl Arnold Le Ray of Leesburg, Virginia, passed away on Friday, August 23, 2024.
Born on December 11, 1931, in Kingston, Jamaica. He was a son of the late Eulee Burke Le Ray and Egbert J. Le Ray.
Karl was vibrant and full of life. He enjoyed being surrounded by family and friends, as well as attending social gatherings. He enjoyed dancing, music, traveling, and was always the life of the party. He enjoyed encouraging others, and always made time to help when needed. Karl lived by the quote “There are no strangers, only friends you have not met yet.” – William Butler Yeats.
Karl dedicated his life to helping others, and was loved dearly, and will be greatly missed.
Karl is preceded in death by one child, Karl Anthony Le Ray.
Karl is survived by his wife, Patricia J. Le Ray; daughters Marsha R. Richardson and Keirsten Le Ray Scotland; four grandchildren, Lena D. Le Ray, Paul A. Le Ray, Maya Thomas, Emmanuel C. Scotland, and Maegan Thomas.
Services will be held privately.
Interment will be at Cypress Hills Cemetery, 833 Jamaica Ave, Brooklyn, NY.
