OBITUARY INFORMATION
KATHLEEN MOORE EVANS, 66, of Ashburn, Virginia since 1998 died on Sunday, September 26, 2010 in Leesburg, Virginia. Ms. Evans was born April 17th 1944 in Redlands, California to the late Stillman and Helen Moore. She was able to live in various places around the world. Ms. Evans was a dedicated and nurturing Social Worker with the mentally handicapped. A member of the National Association of Social Workers. She recently retired after 13 years with The Hartwood Foundation. She was very creative and an expert at various sewing arts and techniques.
Ms. Evans is survived by her two children: Cherylyn Hillier of Culpeper, VA, Thomas M. Evans of Hagerstown, MD; two brothers: Clyde and Steve Moore; four grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, October 2nd 2010 at the Loudoun Funeral Chapel, 158 Catoctin Cr. SE, Leesburg, VA with Pastor Mark Jenkins officiating. Interment will be in California at a later date.
