Keith Lawrence Barbanti's Obituary
Mr. Keith Lawrence Barbanti, age 55, of Leesburg, Virginia passed into God’s loving care on May 13, 2012.
Keith was born on September 5, 1956 in Pequannock Township, NJ. He was the son of the late Evelyn Jeanne Busch Barbanti and brother of the late Gene Barbanti Jr.
Keith is survived and sorely missed by his life partner and best friend Bonnie Kathelene Barbanti of Leesburg, VA; his father Gene Louis Barbanti and stepmother Etta Barbanti of Liberty, NY; his sons: Matthew Keith Barbanti of Leesburg, VA and Christopher Aaron Barbanti of Liberty, NY; step sons: Samuel Myles Clayton and Drewin Wade Clayton both of Ontario, Canada; three sisters: Joyce Garder of Hackettstown, NJ, Carole Dunn of North Forked River, NJ, and Chris Jacques of Athens, GA; his aunt Dorothy Barbanti of West Milford, NJ , seven grandchildren, and numerous friends and co-workers.
Keith worked as a Senior Project Manager for Turner Construction located in Washington, DC. He had been currently working in Richmond VA constructing the new Richmond Justice Building. He made many life-long friends during his career in the construction field and will be missed for his special insight, his sharp wit and sense of humor.
Friends may call on Friday, May 18, 2012 from 3 to 5 pm at the Loudoun Funeral Chapel, 158 Catoctin Circle, SE, Leesburg, VA. A funeral ceremony will begin at 5pm on Friday.
Interment will be held privately at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Mary Elizabeth Miller Radiation Oncology Center, Lansdowne Campus, 44035 Riverside Parkway, Suite 100, Leesburg, VA. 20176.
Bonnie wishes to extend special thanks to nurses Beverly and Renee on the Oncology floor for their special consideration and compassion towards Keith while he was in their care.
