Kelley Renee Green, 58, departed this life peacefully at her home in Leesburg, VA, on May 2, 2026.
Kelley was born on March 8, 1968, in Leesburg, VA, the youngest daughter of the late Hilda Marie and Walter Franklin Green. Kelley attended Loudoun County Public Schools.
Kelley was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend. She loved spending time with her siblings and shared a special bond with her cousins, nieces, and nephews. She loved them all dearly.
Kelley was fun-loving and always greeted you with a smile, sometimes sharing a joke. She loved to socialize and was known as the life and light of the party. Kelley was well known by many and always left you with a smile on your face.
Kelley was hard-working, reliable, and respected by her coworkers. She loved to travel. One of her favorite places to visit was the beach, where she enjoyed the ocean. She enjoyed food, fun, family, and friends, and never missed an opportunity to create great memories with those she loved. Her legacy of humor and perseverance will be forwarded by those who had the privilege of knowing her. Her remarkable life will forever inspire and stand as a testament to the power of resilience and unconditional love.
Kelley leaves to cherish her memory her beloved son Jose Deonte’ Green (Cecil Davis), grandson KyMani Leroy Green, her sisters Jacqueline Day, Vanessa Green, Terresa Green, Lorraine Green, brother Michael Murray, aunt Bertha Day, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Kelley was greeted in the spirit realm by her parents, Hilda and Walter Green, her grandmother Mariah Day, aunt Maxine Phillips, uncle Leonard Day, cousin Mary Carter, and great-great nieces Nova Reign and Za’ Riyah Lla Green.
The Green family will receive guests for a Visitation on Saturday May 16, 2026, from 10:00Am to 11:00Am at Loudoun Funeral Chapel, 158 Catoctin Cir. SE Leesburg, VA 20175. A Celebration of Life will follow at 11:00Am with interment after at Mt. Zion Community Cemetery, located at 100 Old Waterford Rd. Leesburg, VA, 20175.
