Kenneth Hamilton's Obituary
KENNETH ELWOOD HAMILTON, 62, a resident of Harpers Ferry, West Virginia since 1971, formally of Loudoun County, died on Wednesday June 28, 2006 in Charlestown, West Virginia.
Mr. Hamilton is survived by his wife of 12 years Mrs. Barbara J. Hamilton of Harpers Ferry, WVA; four children: Kathy Kresge of Leesburg, VA, Kenneth E. Hamilton II of Roundhill, VA, Timothy M. Hamilton of Harpers Ferry, WVA, Sara F. Hamilton of Martinsburg, WVA; two stepchildren: Ralph E. Bolin of Crofton, MD, Ellen E. Bolin of Martinsburg, WVA; three brothers: Edgar Hamilton of Frederick, MD, Bruce Hamilton of Harpers Ferry, WVA, Roy Hamilton of Falls Church, VA; three sisters: Shirley Duley of Leesburg, VA, Dorothy McGaha of Leesburg, VA, Virginia Newcomb of Leesburg, VA; Eight Grandchildren and a host of other relatives of friends.
Mr. Hamilton was born January 1, 1944 to the late Charles W. and Lillian M. Baker Hamilton in Leesburg, VA. A sister, Kathleen Costello and two brothers, James and Charles Hamilton, also predecease him. Mr. Hamilton served his country in the U.S. Army from 1963-1965. He was a Heavy Equipment Operator with S.W. Rodgers, William A. Hazel, and self-employed at one time. Mr. Hamilton attended the Chestnut Hill United Methodist Church in Harpers Ferry, WVA. He was a Harley-Davidson enthusiast, collecting and riding all of his life.
Friends may call at the Loudoun Funeral Chapel, 158 Catoctin Cr. Leesburg, VA on Friday June 30, 2006 from 2-4 and 6-8pm. Services will follow on Saturday at 3:00pm with Pastor Jeffery Witt officiating.
Interment: Hillsboro Cemetery, Hillsboro, Virginia.
