Khojasteh Saghafi Malekian's Obituary
Mrs. Khojasteh Nancy Malekian, 64 of Great Falls, VA, formerly Woodbridge, VA died on Thursday, June 25, 2009, at MEDSTAR Georgetown University Hospital in Washington, D.C.
Khojasteh was born on Tuesday, February 20, 1945 in Tehran, Iran. She was a daughter of the late Asadollah Saghafi and Parvin Saremi of Tehran, Iran. She was the wife of Alireza Malekian.
Mrs. Malekian was a realtor, working with Long & Foster and Jobbin Realty. Previously, she was a diplomat with the Iranian Foreign Ministry for 20 years.
In addition to her mother and her husband she is survived by her son, Ehssan Peter Malekian of Great Falls, VA, daughter, Samira Malekian Davis of Lansdowne, VA, brothers, Abdolreza Saghafi of Tehran, Iran, Behrouz Saghafi of Leesburg, VA and Saeid Saghafi of Leesburg, VA, sister, Yeghaneh Lange Saghafi of Lausanne, Switzerland; and 4 grand children.
Friends may call on Wednesday, July 1, 2009 from 12 until 1:30 at the Loudoun Funeral Chapel, 158 Catoctin Circle, SE Leesburg, VA. Graveside services and Interment will follow on Wednesday at 2:00 PM in Lovettsville Union Cemetery, Lovettsville, VA.
The family invites all friends to a memorial gathering in celebration of Mrs. Malekian to be held on July 2, 2009 from 7 until 10:30 pm at Leisure World, 19360 Magnolia Grove Square, Leesburg, VA. A traditional Persian dinner will be served at 9 pm.
