Krishan Kumar Magoon's Obituary
Krishan Kumar Magoon, 83, of Dulles Virginia, passed away on May 29, 2022 after a respiratory event. He was born on March 31, 1939 to Mr. Ram Rang Magoon and Mrs. Sita Devi Magoon in Quetta, India. Krishan, his parents, and siblings, Yoginder Pal, Krishna Kumari, Parkash Sarup, Om Prakash, Ved Parkash, Prem Prakash, and Inder Kumar spent their childhood in Haryana, India.
He went to St. Xavier College in Bombay, India and he mastered his trade in instrumentation and electronics engineering at Blue Star Ltd. right after graduation. He moved to Mohan Nagar, U.P. India, and became the chief instrumentation engineer in the glass factory at Mohan Meakin to be closer to his parents. The mastery of his trade and his kind nature made him well known and dear to the owners of Mohan Meakins. After moving to the USA in 1982, he and his family settled in Northern Virginia. He worked for Arlington County and was known to have the “healing touch” by his colleagues for bringing all machines, instruments and electronics to life.
Krishan leaves behind his wife, Vijay Lakshmi Magoon, and his two children, Namita and Sanjay. He also leaves behind his three brothers Parkash, Om, Inder and their families.
He spent his time enjoying his hobbies that included working on cars and fixing all things in the house. He had a green thumb growing vegetables and fruits in his garden and spending time with his immediate and extended family. He also enjoyed traveling with his family and close friends to many country and States within the U.S. He was truly a family man.
He was loved by all who knew him and was considered a kind, giving, gentle and caring man. He was a fearless man who would go out of his way to help anyone in need. His innumerable stories of his life’s adventures kept everyone entertained and intrigued. He will be dearly missed.
Services will be held at Loudoun Funeral Chapel and Crematory on June 3rd, 2022 at 1 pm.

Havan (Indian Prayers) will be held at Rajdhani Mandir (Temple) on June 4th, 2022 at 11am and a lunch to follow at 12pm.
