I first met sweet Kristi when she visited her husband at Lansdowne. She was such a wonderful, kind lady. We shared time, as our husbands dozed, learning about each other. There was a time, not too long before your Dad got his wings that Recreation Aide was asking for music selections to play. I'm not sure which one of us said "Broadway songs' and then "My Fair Lady." It was On The Street Where You live and your parents actually danced! Not for long but your Mom told me that it had been a long time since they had been able to dance. Such a heartwarming memory that was.
I know that the days are sad now, but there isn't a time that I don't go in to visit my husband when I don't think about Kristi; she will stay with me forever.
I'm glad that they are both back together, healthy, happy - and dancing again.
I will keep you each in my prayers. May God continue to watch over and bless you.
