Larry Wayne Grimes, 71 of Rixeyville, Virginia died on Monday, May 26, 2025, in Warrenton, Virginia.
Born Sunday, January 10, 1954, in Leesburg Virginia, he was the son of Calvin Grimes and the late Edith Carter Grimes.
Larry leaves many to cherish his memory including his son, Kevin Grimes of Rixeyville, VA, daughter Amy Grimes of Stephen City, father, Calvin Grimes, and siblings Calvin Grimes Jr, Joyce Ann Simmons, Clifton Grimes, Tammy Grimes, and the late Patsy Woodward. Larry loved his grandchildren Abigail, Cody, Madelyn, Christian, and great grandchildren Kash and Creed.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM on Sunday, June 1, 2025, at Loudoun Funeral Chapel, 158 Catoctin Cr. SE, Leesburg, Virginia. A Funeral service will follow at 11:00 AM on Sunday at Loudoun Funeral Chapel. Interment will be held privately on a later date in Hillsboro Cemetery, Hillsboro, VA.
Flowers will be accepted but donations can be made in Larry’s honor to Poplar Hill Health and Rehab to recognize the exceptional care they provided during his last days.
