Laura Frances Merendini, 81 of Springfield, Virginia passed on Wednesday, April 15, 2015.
Born Friday, June 30, 1933 in Fauquier Co, VA, one of eleven children, she was a daughter of the late Powhatan Cooper and the late Ruth Grimes Southworth.
Frances leaves her family to cherish her memory including her husband Enrico Merendini of Springfield, VA, three children, Alma L. (Bruce) Grover, Alexander P. "Bo" (Debbie) Taylor and Claud A. Taylor, Jr., two grandchildren, Pamela S. Barnes, and Angela L. George, and four great grandchildren, Bryan, Emily, Lauren, and Taylor.
Fran also leaves her nieces and nephews, William Cooper, Jr., Candace Khatchi, Cherrie Cooper, Cheryl Hawley, Penney McClure, Rose Ann Colburn, Joseph Merendini, Thomas Merendini, Donna Guarasci; plus other family and friends.
The family received friends from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM on Sunday, April 19, 2015, at Loudoun Funeral Chapel, 158 Catoctin Circle, SE, Leesburg, Virginia.
Funeral services began at 11:00 AM on Monday, April 20, 2015 at Sunset Memorial Gardens chapel located at 3702 Jefferson Davis Highway Fredericksburg, Virginia 22408 with the Pastor Jim Stone officiating.
Interment was in Sunset Memorial Gardens, Fredericksburg, VA.
