There are people that touch your lives and sometimes they aren't even aware of it. Your family came into our lives after we had suffered a great loss. You ended up coaching Sean's basketball team (2014) , Patrick and Sean became friends, and Laura came into my life again after knowing her briefly through the kids elementary school years. I still remember seeing her on what was a very bad day for me. Her ray of sunshine, her smile and kindness, brought comfort to me on that day more than she ever knew. Just to see a smiling, familiar face...a friend...... May your family know that even though time and years have put some distance between our families, that we will always be here if you all need a friend.

I still remember a bunch of us from the credit union renting a cabin for the weekend. Johanna & Kevin, Sissy & Verne, David & Susie, Joe & Vicki and Jim & Laura. What a bunch of goof's we were that weekend. Running down the hills singing "The Hills are alive with the sound of Music", drinking way too much, playing poker... but heck we didn't have to drive and of course Jim crawling on a dead log over the creek in the middle of winter. Laura & Jim had not announced they were dating at the time but they were not very good at hiding it. The love, compassion and care we all saw then, was still there and always will be.
