Lawrence Joseph Dombrowski's Obituary
Lawrence Joseph Dombrowski (Larry), 71 of Sterling, Virginia passed on Saturday, September 24, 2016, at Reston Hospital Center in Reston, Virginia.
Born Saturday, July 21, 1945 in Buffalo, New York, he was the son of the late Edward Dombrowski and the late Blanche Dwornik Dombrowski.
Lawrence served his country in the US Army reserves. He graduated from the State University College at Buffalo and held two masters degrees from Virginia Tech. Larry worked as an educator for 35 years with Fairfax County Public Schools.
He leaves his family to cherish his memory including his beloved wife of 48 years, Anne McCrone Dombrowski, and three children, Kara Van Wie, Robert & wife Susan and Brian Dombrowski. Grandchildren Jackson, Dylan and Max Van Wie and Caroline and Bryan Dombrowski.
A funeral mass will be held to celebrate Lawrence's life on Friday, September 30, at 11:30 am, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 750 Peachtree St, Herndon, VA 20170.
Interment will be held at a later date in New York.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Mr. Dombrowskis' memory to the American Cancer Society.
