Leland Earl Hughes' Obituary
LELAND EARL HUGHES, 62, of Sterling, Virginia died on Monday January 23rd 2012. Mr. Hughes was born April 14th 1949 in Yonkers, NY. He grew up in Moravia, NY and served his country in the US Navy before settling in Sterling during 1983. Mr. Hughes worked with Raytheon until retiring in 2007. He was a lover of all animals, enjoyed reading and an amateur ham radio operator at WA2VPH.
Mr. Hughes is survived by his partner and best friend Faith Donald of Moravia, NY; three sisters: Kathleen Castellot, Cassandra Escobedo and Suzette Castellot all of Colorado; his birth mother: Elizabeth A. Kay of Colorado and a host of other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents, Leland Palmer and Gertrude Strong Hughes and a brother Terrance Patrick Castellot.
Services and Interment will be held at a later date.
