LEON ROBERT KREMENTZ JR.'s Obituary
It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing at the age of 64 of Leon Robert Krementz, Jr., of Herndon, VA on Sunday April 23, 2023.
Leon will be lovingly remembered by his wife Lorrie Krementz, his parents Lee and Pauline Krementz, sister Pauline Wheeler (William) and niece Jessica Hicks (Andrew).
A New Yorker at heart, Leon was born in Brooklyn, NY on October 14th and grew up on Long Island in Smithtown. He attended Smithtown High School West and was a varsity letter athlete in soccer and basketball. Upon graduation he attended SUNY Courtland followed by a year at Towson University.
The ultimate communicator he pursued a career in sales, spending the last three decades in the moving and storage business. It was his ability to actively listen and ask the right questions that ultimately lead to the almost twenty-five- year union of Leon and his wife Lorrie.
Leon was passionate about sailing, hockey, work and pizza. His engaging personality, warm smile and sense of humor drew people to him and after your first conversation with Leon you were friends for life.
Death will not extinguish the light Leon cast on our hearts and with each beat his memory will live on with friends, colleague, nieces, nephews, sisters, brothers, parents and his adored wife.
A memorial service will be held at Loudon Funeral Chapel on May 6th at 2:00 pm immediately followed by a luncheon held at the residence of Lorrie Krementz.
