Leon Williams' Obituary
Mr. Leon R. Williams, age 72, of Sterling, Virginia, died Tuesday, January 2, 2007, at INOVA Loudoun Hospital Center in Leesburg, Virginia .
Born on August 28, 1934 in Lucketts, VA. Life long of Loudoun County, he was the son of the late Francis Thomas and the late Mary Frances (Williams) Johnson. Mr. Williams served his country in the US Army for over twenty years. In recent years, he was self employed and worked in home improvement. Mr. Williams was a major Redskins fan.
He is survived by his three daughters, Marcia Leon Williams of NY, Melissa Hogan & Kizzy Frye of Sterling; a son, Chris Frye of Sterling; sister, Delores Ann Cox of Falls Church, sister-in-law-Joyce Davis of Sterling, two brothers, Lawrence Johnson of Leesburg, & Sherman & his wife Jane Thomas of Brooklyn, NY; his mother-in-law: Florine Davis of Washington, DC, and his aunt Suzie Johnson of Marshall; two uncles: Paul John of Leesburg and Douglas Johnson of NC and nine grandchildren.
Mr. Williams was predeceased by his wife Mary Jane Frye in 2005; his sisters, Elizabeth Frances Lincoln and Mary Louise Williams and brother James Carl Williams.
Arrangements are being handled by Loudoun Funeral Chapels, 158 Catoctin Circle, SE 20175, Leesburg, Virginia, where the family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM Saturday, January 13, 2007. Funeral service will at the funeral home, at 1:00 PM Saturday, January 13, 2007. Graveside services and Interment will be held on Tuesday, January 16, 2007 at 3:00 pm at Arlington National Cemetery in Arlington, Virginia. Those who wish to attend should meet at the administration building at 2:30 p.m.
