Lester William Murray's Obituary
Lester William Murray (Speedy) departed this life on April 12, 2022. Lester was born January 16, 1964 to the late Lester Spriggs and Dorothy Murray.
On July 12, 2004 Lester was united to Margaret Ostriow. Lester gave his life to Christ and was baptized at Oak Grove Baptist Church by the late Rev. Hennie Brown, Jr. While he was there he sang with the men's choir.
Lester retired from Loudoun County Public Schools where he was a bus driver and then became a bus aid. Lester really enjoyed being a bus aid, talking and joking with the students on the bus. In his spare time, Lester would go to his good friend Richard Clark's shop and hang out with him. Lester considered Richard's family as his second family. Lester's affectionate laugh alone would just make you crack up laughing. He enjoyed watching WWE wrestling, drag racing and spending time with family.
His memories will be cherished by his wife Margaret; his son Sterling Terrill; his sister Francine Murray (Peanut); two like sisters Alfredia Robinson and Chana Gordon; two like brothers Alex Spriggs and Kevin Spriggs; three aunts Mildred Spriggs, Thelma Spriggs and Celestine Spriggs and one uncle Raymond Spriggs (Nadine); mother and father-in-law Judith and the late Donald Ostrow; two brother-in-laws and a host of cousins and many friends.
