Lewis Evans Lough's Obituary
Lewis "Buddy" Lough, 80, on Friday afternoon March 12th 2010 in the Hospice Care Center, Brooksville, Florida, passed on to Heaven to be with the Lord. Buddy was born August 31st 1929 in Alexandria, Virginia but raised in Arlington. Buddy was an avid outdoors man who loved hunting and fishing. He served his country working for the Department of the Army, Night Vision Laboratory, Fort Belvoir Virginia, for over 25 years. Buddy received and was commended for his many contributions to the invention of a variety of night vision scopes for various weapon systems. Many patents were issued on his behalf as a result of his work. He retired in 1994 and relocated to Spring Hill Florida. Survivors include his longtime companion, Dee: two sons: Steve (Rhonda) and Jay, a sister: Nancy Fulmer, six grandchildren: Justin, Christie, Henry, Brandon, Amanda, Benjamin. Buddy was pre-deceased by a son, Mike. Friends may call at the Loudoun Funeral Chapel, 158 Catoctin Cr. SE, Leesburg, Virginia on Sunday March 21st 2010 from Noon until time of services at 2pm.
