Lillian Ardell Gant's Obituary
Mrs. Lillian Ardell Gant of Leesburg, VA, passed away on Wednesday July 25, 2012 in Winchester, VA, at 80 years of age.
Lillian was born on June 11, 1932 in Loudoun County, VA. She was a daughter of the late Ben Leith and the late Maude Allison Leith. Lillian was one of eight children raised in Sycolin, VA. She was the wife of the late Robert L. Gant, Sr., who preceded her in death in 1995.
Lillian was a homemaker and caregiver to her children and grandchildren over the years. She moved to Madison House in 2001.
She is survived by her three children, Lisa Morris and son-in-law Robert of Midland, VA, Bobby Gant and daughter-in-law Teresa of Lucketts, and Wayne Gant and daughter-in-law Bonnie of Inwood, WV.
Lillian is also survived by one brother, Willard Leith of Charlestown, WV, six grandchildren, Robert III, Chris, Wayne Jr., Justin, Steven, Peggy; and one great grandchild Mason.
Friends may call on Sunday July 29, 2012 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 at the Loudoun Funeral Chapel, 158 Catoctin Circle, SE, Leesburg, VA 20175.
Funeral services will follow on Monday, July 30, 2012 at 1 pm at the funeral home, with Rev. Lewis Lee officiating.
Interment will follow in Lovettsville Union Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the funeral home to help defray final expenses.
