Linda L. McIntyre's Obituary
Linda L. McIntyre passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 8, 2024, at the age of 78 surrounded by her family.
She was born in Washington DC on August 5, 1946, to Alfred H. Tipping and Minnie Tipping and grew up in Arlington, VA. Linda was a loving wife, dedicated mother and affectionate grandmother. She was a homemaker for her two children, a sales associate with Fashion Bug and also helped take care of her four grandchildren.
She leaves behind her husband of 57 years, Howard T. McIntyre, her son Shane McIntyre (Saleena), her daughter Kristie Jamieson (Spencer) and her 4 grandchildren Gwyneth Schloer, Brendan Jamieson, Kaelyn McIntyre and Blake Jamieson. Linda is survived by her mother, Minnie Tipping, and sister Patricia (Gail) Alford. She was preceded in death by her father, Alfred H. Tipping.
Services will be held on December 17th at 11am at the Loudoun Funeral Chapel, 158 Catoctin Circle, S.E., Leesburg, VA 20175. Friends are also welcome to join in a reception following the services at the Jamieson residence at 42829 Ridgeway Drive, Broadlands, VA 20148.
