Lorena Agatha Thurman was born October 2, 1933 in Aberdeen, South Dakota and departed this life December 11, 2010.
She is survived by her loving husband of 57 years, Denis F. Thurman, Sr. now residing in Shelby, NC and by her children, Mary Elizabeth Thurman (Clayton) of Tyler, TX; Denis F. Thurman, Jr. (Celeste) of Shelby, NC; Cristine Reilly (Peter) of Alexandria, VA and Valerie White (Forrest) of Waterford, VA.
Her grandchildren, Cameron and Troy Norris; Denis III, Phillip and Hannah Thurman; Brendan, Bridget and Conor Reilly; Dylan Foster, Nicholas and Laurel White. Her six great grandchildren, her three sisters and three brothers.
She was predeceased by her parents Frank and Mabel Schwan, two sisters and two brothers.
Mass will be held December 20, 2010 @ 10:30am at St. Francis DeSales Catholic Church in Purcellville, VA and internment at Union Cemetery in Leesburg, VA.
Blessed are the pure in heart for they shall see God and His Angels.
