Loren and I were best friends when he lived in Paducah Ky. We went to high school together and some of the best times of my life were spent with him and his Family. I was always at his house especially on Saturday night where we watched NWA wrestling for a couple hours . He loved his Mack Bolan books ,and his hound dog they had . We loved Kung Fu movies, and imitated how they fought and talked to people at school . I truly regret, that I didn't try to contact him sooner , as I would have dropped everything in my life to be by his side during his last days . Loren my brother , we shall meet again one day , and carry on and joke , and laugh like we used to. Mu condolences to his wife and children , and to Danny and Patricia and family.
Loren was my best friend in high school and we had so many good times together and we were inseparable. I wish we could of stayed in touch over the years ,his parents are wonderful people too , and so is his Brother Vince . RIP until we meet again my friend. Danny Peppers , Paducah Ky
Loren is my first cousin, only a couple of years older than me. I did not get to see him as often as I would like because we lived about 6 hours apart, but I cherish the times we had together and the memories. He was very thoughtful, kind hearted and adventurous. The kids and I visited my aunt and uncle, Trish and Danny, several years ago, and I'm so thankful he was there visiting his parents as well. We played croquet in the backyard, and he showed us his extensive Civil War bullet collection. He took us on a hike in the Shenandoah mountains, and took us around a local Civil War Museum and Battlefield. We enjoyed our time with him so much! This was the last time I saw him. I also remember another visit to my aunt and uncle's house, and we visited Loren and Vince at their Italian restaurant. They fed us well that day and the food was delicious! I also remember chasing Loren around my grandparents house in Bristol as a child when they had come for a visit. I always had fun with him. I love you LG! I'm praying for you Aunt Trish, uncle Danny, Vince, and Jenna.
