Loretta Marie Hulehan Host
October 31, 1939 – May 19, 2025
Loretta Marie Hulehan Host, beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on May 19, 2025, in Ashburn, Virginia, at the age of 85.
Born on October 31, 1939, in Florence, New Jersey, Loretta was the cherished daughter of Isabel King Hulehan and Roy Wainwright Hulehan, Sr. She grew up surrounded by the love of her family, including her brothers Wayne and Roy, and her late sister Denise Dupell.
On November 14, 1964, Loretta married the love of her life, Robert Edward Host. Together, they shared 55 wonderful years of marriage until his passing. Their union was a testament to devotion, kindness, and enduring values.
She is survived by her loving son, Robert Host, her devoted daughter-in-law, Janice Host, and her treasured grandsons, Devin and Grant Host. Loretta’s legacy of warmth and compassion lives on in each of them. She is also survived by her brothers, Wayne (Peggy) and Roy (Tricia) Hulehan, who will miss her dearly.
Loretta will be remembered for her gentle spirit, her unwavering support for her family, and her ability to find joy in the simple moments of life. Her memory will forever be cherished by all who were fortunate enough to know her.
Family and friends are invited to attend a viewing on Friday, June 6, 2025, at 10:30 a.m., followed by a funeral service at 11:30 a.m., at the Koschek-Mancuso Funeral Home, 1115 Hornberger Avenue, Roebling, NJ 08554.
Interment will be at Cedar Hill Cemetery.
