Lorraine M. Bogar's Obituary
Lorraine Bogar, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on August 4, 2024. Born on April 23, 1934, Lorraine’s life was a testament to her kindness and devotion to her family.
She is survived by her devoted husband of 67 years, Carl; son Brent Bogar (Elaine), daughter Carla Bolle (Kirk), son Gary Bogar (Patty), and son Garth Bogar (Sandi); and her cherished grandchildren, Matt Bogar (Lisa), Dylan Slack, Kyle Slack (Ari), Olivia Bogar, Ben Bogar, Ava Bogar, Sienna Bogar and Jack Bogar; and 4 great grandchildren Aiden, Alex, Ainsley, and Sam. Lorraine’s family was her greatest joy, and she leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories.
Lorraine will be remembered for her nurturing spirit, contagious laugh, her unwavering support, and her ability to bring warmth and light to those around her. She is a longtime member of Sterling United Methodist Church and the Sterling Senior Center. She loved playing bingo, Charlestown slots, telling stories, playing cards, traveling, and gatherings with friends and family. Her memory will continue to inspire and comfort all who knew her.
A memorial service will be held on Monday August 12, 2024 at 11:00am at Sterling United Methodist Church.
