Louis Earl Brown's Obituary
LOUIS EARL BROWN, 90, of Leesburg, Virginia, passed away on Thursday, December 11, 2025, in Aldie, Virginia.
Born on May 10, 1935, Loudoun County, VA; one of 11 children of the late Lee Benjamin and Martha Allen Brown. Louis was a lifelong resident of Loudoun County. He built his life and his family in the community he loved and called home for nine decades.
Louis was the devoted husband of Katherine Ann Cook Brown.
He is also survived by his children, Kenneth Lee (Alexandra) Brown, Toni (Laurie) Brown-Berry; and Wannetta (Steve) Langley. He is also survived by his sisters Nancy, Lucille, Sue, Catherine, and Libby; and by his grandchildren Eric Tyrone Brown, Laura Vasquez-Bolanos, Sara Lucia Brown, and Kendra Lee Brown, all of whom brought him great pride and joy.
Louis was preceded in death by his son, Louis E. Brown, Jr. and other family members including siblings, Martha, Mary, Thomas, Rose, and James.
A gifted and dedicated mechanic, Louis worked in the automotive industry. He began his career with Leesburg Ford in 1958 until retiring from Jerry Ford in 2020.
The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM Friday, December 26, 2025, at Loudoun Funeral Chapel, 158 Catoctin Cr. SE, Leesburg, Virginia. A Funeral service will begin at 1:00 PM on Friday at Loudoun Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Roy A. Trammell, Sr. and Rev. Harry “Sonny Boy” Johnson officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Zion Community Cemetery, Leesburg, VA
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Loudoun County Animal Shelter. 42225 Adoption Drive, Leesburg, VA 20175. Please make checks payable to the County of Loudoun with "Animal Program Trust Fund" in the memo line. The Animal Program Trust Fund is used to purchase supplies that directly benefit pets but that are not provided for in the government operating budget.
