On This Day,
There once was a noble knight, who roamed the forest, in search of his next adventure.His name was Louis.
His belongings on his back, he did carry. In his heart, he carried the love of God, his family, and the wonderful friends he had met, in his many journeys.
He was blessed in many ways, yet chose to roam the land, free. Facing many battles along his journeys, yet, always finding peace and laughter, as if it followed him like his shadow.
The noble knight, on this day, like any other day, sought an adventure. One he could share with many of his friends, with laughter and good cheer. On this day, with the spirit in his step, he set out to seek, what he could find. On this day..... he set out, like any other day, with the love of God in his heart, his family, and his friends.
Having stumbled through the forest, feeling tired from his long day's journey, he came upon a beautiful meadow, with a stream filled with cool, clean water. The knight, knelt down, cupped his hand, and brought the water to his lips. When suddenly, he felt he wasn't alone. He quickly stood up, and turned around, to find leaping towards him, a tiger he did see!!
The noble knight Louis wrestled the tiger and won! But the tigers mate attacked him while doing a victory dance.
As the knight, having fought his last battle, fell to the ground in defeat, a warm breeze came from the meadow, embracing the noble knight, before he hit the ground. It was this day, the hands of God, reaching for him!!
So let it be written, so let it be said, that on this day....The noble knight Louis, would begin on his greatest adventure, forever....
