Louis Templar Titus, Jr.
L. Templar Titus, Jr., age 77, of Ellijay, Georgia, formerly of Leesburg, VA, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, May 7th, 2013 at the Heritage Healthcare Center of Blue Ridge, GA.
Born January 26th, 1936 to his late parents, Louis T. Titus, Sr. and Margaret Mable Florence Titus in Leesburg, VA. Mr. Titus attended the Cartecay United Methodist Church, graduated from Leesburg High School, Class of 1954, and received a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Capitol University in Washington, D.C. He was a retiree of the National Weather Service, and a veteran of the United States Air Force.
A Memorial Reception will be held at 2pm Saturday, May 11th, 2013 at the Cartecay United Methodist Church fellowship hall, with Rev. Harden Hopper presiding.
Graveside interment will follow in the Union Cemetery in Leesburg, VA at 1:00pm on Saturday, June 1st, 2013.
Survivors include wife of 46 years, Karen Anderson Titus of Ellijay, GA; Daughters and sons-in-law Sara and Kris Allegood of Marietta, GA and Laurel and Lee Carlson of Albuquerque, NM; Son, Louis T. Titus, III of Sugarland, TX; Grandchildren, Martin Andrew Carlson, Spencer Kyle Allegood and Patrick James “Jimmy” Allegood; Brother, C. Terry Titus of Leesburg, VA also survives.
Family will receive friends during the memorial reception at the Cartecay United Methodist Church on Saturday, May 11th, 2013.
