Lucille M. Skinner Pilchuk's Obituary
Mattie ”Lucille” Skinner Pilchuk, of Ashburn, VA, passed away peacefully on December 19, 2023 at the age of 88. Lucille was born to James and Mildred Hackney in Chapel Hill, NC November 19, 1935. She was the fourth oldest of ten children. She married John Aubrey Skinner Jr. on December 10, 1951. To which she had five children: Mike Skinner (Dawn), Kathy Grover (Steve), Wanda Klunk (Ricky), Julie Skinner (Angela), and Aubrey Skinner (Cheryl). She had 16 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild. Lucille enjoyed driving a bus for LCPS for over 38 years in the Leesburg area. She was a devoted member at Leesburg United Methodist Church (LUMC, Sunshine Circle and the Red Hat Club. Service will be held at Leesburg United on Friday December 22, 2023at 11:30AM. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Leesburg United Methodist Church at leesburgumc.org and VITAS Healthcare of Northern VA at vitascommunityconnection.org
