Lucinda Nickens' Obituary
Mrs. Lucinda Sarah Nickens, 85, of Leesburg, VA, died on Wed., Jan. 21, 1009 at Heritage Hall Nursing and Rehab. in Leesburg, VA.
Born on Sat. May 19, 1923 in Loudoun County, VA, she was the daughter of the late James Henry Morris and the late Estelle R. Mallory Morris. She was the wife of the late Roy L. Nickens.
Mrs. Nickens was employed as a residential housekeeper for many local families.
She was a member of Providence Baptist Church.
Surviving are sons, Robert and wife Pearl Morris of Falls Church, VA, Charles and wife Josephine Nickens of Leesburg, Odell and wife Carolyn Hughes of Leesburg, daughters, Annette Nickens of Leesburg, Mary Grigsby of Ashburn, VA, Cindy Scott of Reston, VA, Louise Frye of Purcellville, VA, and Lynn Nickens Page and her husband Reginald of Leesburg, and sister, Mary E. Wiley of Inwood, WV; 19 grand children, 40 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 11 am on Saturday at Providence Baptist Church 205 Church Street, SE, Leesburg, VA with Rev. Dr. Herbert C. Love officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Olive Baptist Church Cemetery, Lincoln, VA.
