Lynn Gary Schrader's Obituary
LYNN GARY SCHRADER, 63, of Leisure World at Lansdowne, VA since 2003, died on March 29, 2008 at his home with his family by his side after a seven and a half year battle with Renal Cell Carcinoma. Mr. Schrader was born July 28, 1944 in Langdon, North Dakota to the late Norman and Gladys McDaniel Schrader. He retired from the Burlington Sante Fe Railroad after 32 years, having lived in Chicago, Dallas-Ft. Worth, and Arvada and Conifer Colorado during those years.
Mr. Schrader is survived by his beloved wife of 42 years Mrs. Christine St. Mary Schrader of Lansdowne; a daughter: Colleen and husband Michael McLain of Reston, VA; a son: Scott and wife Deeann Schrader of New Braunfels, TX; five grandchildren: Ryan and Kelsey McLain, Troy and Brendon Schrader and Cody McMillan; one sister: Marjorie and husband Harold Nowatzki of Langdon, ND; one brother: Glenn Schrader of Grand Forks, ND and many nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at the Loudoun Funeral Chapels 158 Catoctin Cr. SE Leesburg, VA on Wednesday April 2, 2008 from 2-4 and 6-8pm. A Funeral Mass will be held at 2:00pm on Thursday April 3, 2008 at the little church of St. John the Apostle Catholic Church, King Street, Leesburg, VA. Inurnment will follow at 11:30am on Friday April 4, 2008 in Union Cemetery, Leesburg, VA.
