Mrs. Madeline Irene Rusmussen's Obituary
Madeline Irene O’Hea Rasmussen, 91, of Walkersville, MD and formerly of Baldwin New York, passed away Saturday, June 23, 2012 in Walkersville.
Irene was born in Brooklyn, NY a daughter of the late, Elvin and Madeline O’Hea. She was a retired flight attendant with Eastern Airline and as member of the Silverliners organization, she enjoyed her travels all around the world. Beyond her family, her greatest pleasures were Broadway plays, fine cuisine and playing Bridge.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry P. Rasmussen and daughter, Susan Lee Wackett.
Survivors include her daughter, Jane Rasmussen Vogt of Apollo Beach, FL, grandchildren, Keith Wackett of Leesburg and Jennifer Wackett Smirnoff of Ashburn, and great-grandchildren, Evan and Bryan Smirnoff.
Interment will be in Calverton National Cemetery in Calverton, NY.
