OBITUARY INFORMATION
MAGDELINA ELIZABETH TAYLOR, 70, on Wednesday, October 16th 2013 in Leesburg, VA. Mrs. Taylor was born May 20th 1943 in Thorpe, WV to the late Henry L. and Ella Mae Hayes Phillips. Her husband, Harold Taylor predeceased her in 2003. Over the years she lived in Bluefield WV, Charles Town WV, Manassas VA and Salem VA. Mrs. Taylor retired from the IRS after many years of service. She was a member of Kingdom Life Cathedral in Charlestown, WV and while living in Manassas and Salem she was active with the senior centers. Mrs. Taylor enjoyed cooking and helping others but above all she loved her church and family.
Mrs. Taylor is survived by her beloved four children: William N. Gatewood (Sonya), Joseph S. Gatewood, Calvin A. Cunningham (Trina), Trina P. Burns (Anthony); five siblings: Virginia Aaron (Dan), Tasleem Al-Mu-Minah, Isa Abdul-Ghaffar (Alta), Bishop, Jerry Phillips (Vanessa), Rev. Jacob Phillips (Rev. Charlene); five grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00PM on Wednesday October 23rd 2013 at the Loudoun Funeral Chapel 158 Catoctin Cr. SE, Leesburg, VA. Interment will be private at a later date.
