Maggie Bernice Holland Morgan's Obituary
Maggie Bernice Morgan, 59 of Washington, DC, passed on Sunday, April 2, 2017.
One of ten children, she was born Friday, August 2, 1957, in Loudoun County, VA. She was a daughter of the late Rufus Brent and the late Josephine Holland. Raised in Loudoun, she was a member of Providence Baptist Church. Later, she moved to DC and graduated from the Academy of Hope.
For the last ten years, she has worked as a Senior Care Manager with Center City Community Corporation.
She leaves her family to cherish her memory including her husband of eight years, Dennis Morgan, Sr. of Washington, DC, step son Dennis Morgan, Jr. also of Washington, DC, two Godsons, Colby and Kentaro Holland both of Leesburg, VA, 3 brothers, Kirk, Rufus, and John Holland all of Winchester, VA, 3 sisters, Darlene and Viola Holland of Winchester, VA and Irene McMillian of Washington, DC. She is also survived by 2 sisters-in-laws, Beverly Proctor, and Ethel Morgan, and 5 brothers-in-laws, Julius, Kirmet, James, Robert, and Howard, plus a host of other family and friends.
Funeral services will begin at 11:00 AM on Saturday, April 15, 2017, at Providence Baptist Church located at 205 Church Street S.E. Leesburg, Virginia 20175 with the Rev. Dr. Herbert C. Love officiating.
The family will receive friends one hour prior from 10 am until the time of the funeral.
Interment will be in Sterling Cemetery, Sterling, Virginia.
