Marcus James Belcher's Obituary
MARCUS JAMES BELCHER, 38, of Leesburg since 2004, died suddenly on
Saturday, September 8, 2012. Mr. Belcher was born in Frankfurt,
Germany on September 12th, 1973, to the late Buddy D. Belcher and Mrs.
Ilse L. Junge Belcher. Marcus moved to Aurora, Colorado at the age of
4 where he resided until his mother moved to Pakistan working for the
US Government in 1989, and he began to attend the International School
in Geneva, Switzerland, at age 15. Upon graduation, he served his
country in the US Army with the Old Guard, 3rd Infantry at Ft. Myer in
Arlington, VA. Marcus spent six years in Denmark before returning to
the United States in 2004. He was fluent in German and English and
spoke some French. Marcus worked with Beckstrom Electrical and was
more recently working with Edge Electric. He loved to work and
enjoyed the outdoors and guns. Marcus is survived by his mother: Ilse
L. Belcher of Arlington, VA, and relatives in Germany and Indiana.
Service and interment will be held privately at a later date. On-line
