Marguerite was born April 23, 1933, in Washington DC. She graduated from Roosevelt High School. She worked for the weather bureau in the payroll department. She sang in the choir of the Billy Graham Crusade for one week when they came to DC.
Marguerite loved attending Fourth Presbyterian Church for many years where she taught Sunday School and sang in the choir. A friend from church introduced her to her future husband as MM meet MM. They went to Hawaii for their honeymoon and enjoyed several trips back over the years. She was secretary to the minister of Fourth Presbyterian Church until starting a family. Her five children were blessed to have her as their mother. Later in life she went to work as a salesperson and then a manager for Jordan Kitts Music. This led to winning trips to various places around the world. She and Marvin retired to Naples, Florida, but decided to move back here after a couple years to be close to family again. They lived in Ashburn, VA. Marguerite loved being with her family and friends.
Marguerite loved the Lord and enjoyed sharing her faith with others. She loved birds, flowers, old movies, Holidays and sharing a good laugh. She was a wonderful cook, and many have enjoyed such favorites as potato salad, almond cake, candy cane cookies, mommy Christmas bread, and a classic grilled cheese sandwich.
Those that knew Marguerite, found her to be wonderful, kind, sweet, caring, a Saint, funny, charming and beautiful inside and out. We were truly blessed to have her in our lives.
