Marianne Frances Hicks' Obituary
MARIANNE FRANCIS HICKS MCGEE, 60, of White Post, Virginia passed away peacefully from lung cancer at her home with family and friends by her side on May 5, 2009. Marianne was a loving, caring mother and grandmother with over 33 years in recovery who dedicated her life to helping those in need. Mrs. Hicks is survived by her two beloved daughters; Annamarie Gatling, Jennifer Rowles, two siblings; Hugh and Carolyn, two grandchildren; Logan and Kayla and a host of other family and friends. Rick McGee, her loving brother passed away four days later after fighting the same battle. Marianne’s legacy lives on within all those inspired by her love and dedication. Friends may call on Saturday May 16, 2009 at the Loudoun Funeral Chapel, 158 Catoctin Cr. SE, Leesburg, VA for visitation from 4 to 6 pm, service 6 to 7 pm.
