Chris, Lisa and Family: So sorry to hear about the passing of Marie. I met her many times over the years. She was always so pleasant and friendly. Chris and I played many years in a bluegrass band and she attended many of the shows. I am sorry that Anne and I will not be able to attend the service but send our love to everyone. RIP Marie.
Growing up with the Atheys in Falls Church, I have too many wonderful memories to count. Everyday was an adventure and Mom (Marie) was always there to welcome us home and listen to our stories. Marie was a treasure and I feel blessed to have been her friend. We bowled together, enjoyed talking about TV shows we were watching and books we were reading and enjoyed many lunches over the years. She was so loved and will be missed. This picture was taken this past December with Marie and the “Rolling Pins”.
