Marie Catherine Ley's Obituary
MARIE CATHERINE LEY, 92, formerly of Emerson, New Jersey before moving to Ashburn, Virginia in 1999, died on Friday, December 05, 2008 in Lansdowne, Virginia. Mrs. Ley was born July 15, 1916 in Inwood, Long Island, NY, to the late John B. and Katherine I. Shanley. A daughter, Diane Neinstedt, a son, C. David Ley and two sisters also predeceased her.
Mrs. Ley is survived by her daughters Judy Spinnanger of Williamsburg, Virginia, Brenda Wagner of Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida, six grandchildren, six great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00pm on Wednesday, December 10, 2008 at the Loudoun Funeral Chapel, 158 Catoctin Cr. SE Leesburg, Virginia with Rev. Chris Riedel officiating. Graveside services will follow at 11:30am on Friday December 12, 2008 in Pinelawn Memorial Park, Pinelawn, Long Island, NY.
