Marjorie Coy Coddington's Obituary
MARJORIE COY CODDINGTON, 86, of Leisure World in Leesburg, Virginia passed away on September 26th 2011. Mrs. Coddington was born August 29th 1925 to the late Gordon and Myrtle Houck Coy in Vandergrift, Pennsylvania. Before moving to Leisure World in 2008 she had lived in Thousand Oaks, California for 40 years. She is survived by her beloved husband, CDR Kenneth K. Coddington, USN, Retired of Leesburg; two children: Keith Coddington of Herndon, VA, Karen Marshall of Las Vegas, NV; a brother: Max Coy of Bloomsburg, PA; six grandchildren, six great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
Graveside services will be held at Arlington National Cemetery in Arlington, VA on Tuesday, November 22nd 2011 at 2:00PM. Those that wish to attend should meet at the administration building on the grounds of the cemetery by 1:30.
For those that desire, and in lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions may be made in Mrs. Coddington’s name to the United Methodist Church of Thousand Oaks, 1000 E. Janss Road, Thousand Oaks, CA 91360.
