Mark Edward Galbraith's Obituary
MARK EDWARD GALBRAITH, 72 of Leesburg, Virginia passed on Saturday, November 8, 2025, in Leesburg, Virginia.
Born Saturday, December 20, 1952, he was the son of the late Grant Galbraith and the late Alice Galbraith.
He is survived by his daughter Anne M Galbraith, son Grant Galbraith, sisters Bonnie King (Steve), Danita Hewitt (Greg), and Jeannette Galbraith (Lynn), 4 nieces, 1 nephew, 7 great nieces and 5 great nephews as well as his best friend through life Mike Hetu.
With vision now restored, there will be plenty of long rides on a Harley. He’ll have unlimited Dr Peppers, Marlboro Reds in his front shirt pocket, and wind in his hair. With his eye for detail and complete mastery of finishing carpentry as well as his ability to crochet any size blanket you could ever need, his eternity will likely be cozy, precise and surrounded by dogs as he watches over all his grand nieces and nephews - between all those long motorcycle rides.
He wanted to help everyone else even when he wouldn’t openly accept a gift without grumbles, and he always wanted everyone fed. In his honor, eat a nice meal, take a ride on your motorcycle, give your pups a belly rub and a walk, take your kids out for some ice cream, and of course drink a Dr Pepper.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to americanheartassociation.com or your favorite animal or child related charity. Children and dogs were what he loved in life.
