Mark Howard's Obituary
MARK ALLEN HOWARD, 14, STUDENT/ BASKETBALL PLAYER, life long resident of Leesburg, VA died suddenly at home on August 3, 2006 in Leesburg.
His parents David B. and Marlys B. (Vial) Howard of Leesburg survive him, one sister: Mia Michele Howard, Maternal Grandmother: Evelyn Vial of Manassas, VA, Paternal Grandparents: Dr. Herbert and Rachel Howard of Leesburg and a host of other relatives and friends. He is predeceased by a sister Rachel Grace Howard.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm on Wednesday August 9, 2006 at Loudoun Funeral Chapel, 158 Catoctin Cr. S.E. Leesburg with Dr G. Keith Almond officiating. Interment will follow in Leesburg Union Cemetery.
Mark was born January 9, 1992 in Leesburg. He has attended Loudoun County Public Schools all his life and was enrolled in the eight grade at Smarts Mill Middle School, Leesburg last school year. Mark attended Leesburg United Methodist Church and enjoyed playing basketball.
Donations may take the form of contributions to Smarts Mill Middle School, 850 North King Street, Leesburg, VA 20176 for the Mark Howard Memorial Fund that will help underprivileged children purchase sports equipment and fund field trips.
