Marlene Marie Horner's Obituary
MARLENE MARIE HORNER, 85 of Cleveland, Ohio, passed on Friday, February 25, 2022 in Sterling, Virginia.
Born Tuesday, February 2, 1937 in Cleveland, Ohio. She was the daughter of the late Dominic Damiani and the late Lucia Orlando Damiani.
Marlene lived her life to the fullest, full of laughter and good times with the people she loved. She loved traveling, shopping, bowling, gardening, cooking, and so much more. She always enjoyed her dinners out with family and looked forward to her lunches with her lifelong sorority sisters.
She owned multiple home improvement businesses with her husband Hadley. Most recently she managed her son’s company, Home Exteriors Energy Consultants, since moving to Virginia to be closer to her son and his family.
Marlene is predeceased by her husband Hadley John Horner in 2013, and her son Hadley Michael Horner in 1983.
Marlene leaves her family to cherish her memories including her daughter, Deborah Graci, son Mark (wife Kelli) Horner, and daughter Charise (husband Scott) Soreo. As well as her nine grandchildren Markus (wife Ashley) Horner, Cheyenne LaMarca, Justin Hadley Graci, Calogero LaMarca, Tabatha Horner, Sierra (husband Joshua) Hummer, Hadley Horner, Savana LaMarca, and her late son Hadley’s daughter Heather Schlatt, and great grandchildren Kai and Avery.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, March 3, 2022 from 4 to 7 PM at Loudoun Funeral Chapel located at 158 Catoctin Circle SE, Leesburg, Virginia 20175.
Interment will be held by the family at a later date in All Saints Cemetery, Northfield, OH.
