Martha Clark Keyes' Obituary
On February 6, 2010, at home and surrounded by family, Martha Clark Keyes was peacefully called home to be with the Lord. Born to Daisy Evelyn and Joseph Clark in Glen Gary, WV on March 17, 1937, Martha was raised in Brunswick, MD. She is a retired employee of AT&T.
Survivors include her husband of 51 years, Albert Myer Keyes of Leesburg, VA, daughters, Leslie Ashby and Linda Dizerega of Leesburg, VA, son-in-law, Steve Ashby of Leesburg, VA, grandsons, Taylor Ashby, Josh Ashby and Zachary Dizerega of Leesburg, VA, granddaughter, Laurel Dizerega of Winchester, VA, great grandchildren, Aidan and Tatiana Smith and Alexis and Kadance Dizerega of Winchester, VA, sister, Geneva C. Peyton of North Beach, MD, and brother, Earle L. Clark of Myrtle Beach, SC. Martha was predeceased by her parents, one sister and four brothers.
Martha was a member of Leesburg United Methodist Church and enjoyed gardening, but her greatest love was her family. In addition to her family, she will be lovingly remembered by many friends, both young and old, whose lives she touched, many who knew her as “Grandmom” or “Mom”.
Friends may call from 1 to 2 pm on Saturday, February 27, 2010 at the Loudoun Funeral Chapel, where a memorial service will follow at 2pm.
Interment will be held privately at a later date.
