Marvin Lee Stanton Jr.'s Obituary
Marvin Lee Stanton Jr, age 33 passed away suddenly on Sunday, February 14, 2021 at Reston Hospital Center in Reston, Virginia. He was born March 21, 1987, in Frederick, Maryland son of Odessa Stanton and Marvin (Dawn) Stanton Sr.
He was a 2005 graduate of Urbana High School with honor’s, wherein he played basketball. While in high school he enjoyed hanging out with his friends
Marvin enjoyed basketball, hockey and fishing. He was a big fan of the Washington Redskins football team. #HTTR He displayed a tremendous knack for helping others. It was evident at a young age that he had a passion for making other’s feel good. Some would say he always had the moves, whether it is on a basketball court or on the dance floor. He always had the biggest smile in the room, and no matter how bad your day was, he could make it better.
Marvin’s biggest joy and greatest accomplishment was being a dad to his princess Emerson.
As a youngster, he and his brother would dress up and put on a show for anyone. He had a natural talent for making those around him laugh and smile.
Marvin truly lived life to the fullest through the simple pleasures. He enjoyed family and friends. He had an incredible ability to reach people in a deep and positive way.
He is survived by his daughter, Emerson Stanton, both of his parent’s Odessa Stanton and Marvin (Dawn) Stanton Sr, his brother Eric (Serina) Roberts Jr, and grandmother Yvonne Stanton, a niece Mikayla and nephew Shawn Roberts and many Aunts, Uncles and Cousins.
