Mary Louise Brown's Obituary
It is with much sadness that the Brown family announces the passing of Mary L. Brown, age 82, on November 10, 2014. Mary was born on October 3, 1932 in Toronto, Ontario. She married Gerry Brown in Toronto on November 3, 1956 and accompanied him to London and Washington during his career as an actuary. They moved to Leisure World in June 2003.
Mary is the mother of four children, Karen, Lesley, Laura and Martha, and had ten grandchildren. She was a devoted wife and mother who worked at various times at Bell Canada and GEICO.
Prior to suffering a stroke six years ago, Mary was an excellent cook and excelled at handcrafts such as knitting, needlepoint and counted cross-stitch.
Mary will be sorely missed by her family, her friends at Blue Ridge and the many friends made throughout her life.
The family will be holding a private funeral.
